cassandra-topologies.properties file

Use cassandra-topologies.properties with PropertyFileSnitch when you want to describe the entire cluster topology in one file.

The file must be identical on every node. If one node sees a different mapping, Cassandra can place replicas against the wrong topology and the cluster will make inconsistent routing decisions.

If you are not using PropertyFileSnitch, use cassandra-rackdc.properties instead.

Include every node in the cluster and make the datacenter names match the keyspace replication settings. The datacenter and rack names are case-sensitive.
